Introduction to Ceramics and Pottery

4 in stock

Experience the feel and nature of clay as you create some hand-built pieces. Traditional techniques such as pinch pots, coil pots, bead making, and slab plate or bowls.  There will be one hand building class, one wheel throwing class experience, one sculpting experience and one glazing experience during the 4 classes. If you have never taken a class using clay, this is the one for you.  We start at the beginning and enjoy the entire process from making, decorating, bisque, and glazing.  You will make 4-5 finished products to pick up after the last class.  Try ceramics and see if you like it!
